Spherically Symmetric Exact Vacuum Solutions in Einstein-Aether Theory

چکیده

We study spherically symmetric spacetimes in Einstein-aether theory three different coordinate systems, the isotropic, Painlevè-Gullstrand, and Schwarzschild coordinates, which aether is always comoving, present both time-dependent time-independent exact vacuum solutions. In particular, isotropic coordinates we find a class of static solutions characterized by single parameter c14 closed forms, satisfies all current observational constraints theory, reduces to black hole solution decoupling limit (c14=0). However, as long c14≠0, marginally trapped throat with finite non-zero radius exists, on one side it spacetime asymptotically flat, while other becomes singular within proper distance from throat, although geometric area infinitely large at singularity. Moreover, singularity strong curvature singularity, Ricci Kretschmann scalars become large.

Spherically Symmetric Solutions in a New Braneworld Massive Gravity Theory

In this paper, a combination of the braneworld scenario and covariant de Rham-Gabadadze-Tolley (dRGT) massive Gravity theory is proposed. In this setup, the five-dimensional bulk graviton is considered to be massive. The five dimensional nonlinear ghost-free massive gravity theory affects the 3-brane dynamics and the gravitational potential on the brane. Following the solutions with spherical s...

Exact Spherically Symmetric Solutions in Massive Gravity

A phase of massive gravity free from pathologies can be obtained by coupling the metric to an additional spin-two field. We study the gravitational field produced by a static spherically symmetric body, by finding the exact solution that generalizes the Schwarzschild metric to the case of massive gravity. Besides the usual 1/r term, the main effects of the new spin-two field are a shift of the ...

Exact Vacuum Solutions to the Einstein Equation

In this paper, we present a framework for getting a series of vacuum solutions to the Einstein equation. This procedure of resolution is based on a canonical form of the metric. According to this procedure, the Einstein equation can be reduced to some 2-dimensional Laplace-like equations or rotation and divergence equations, which are much convenient for the resolution. PACS numbers: 04.20-q, 0...

Einstein-aether Theory *

Could there be an æther after all and we have just not yet noticed it? By an “æther” of course we do not mean to suggest a mechanical medium whose deformations correspond to electromagnetic fields, but rather a locally preferred state of rest at each point of spacetime, determined by some hitherto unknown physics. Such a frame would not be determined by a circumstance such as the moon’s gravita...

0 General Non - Static Spherically Symmetric Solutions of Einstein Vacuum Field Equations with Λ

1− It is shown that the upper bound for α in the general solutions of spherically symmetric vacuum field equations (gr-qc/9812081, Λ = 0) is nearly 10. This has been obtained by comparing the theoretical prediction for bending of light and precession of perihelia with observation. For a significant range of possible values of α(α > 2) the metric is free of coordinate singularity. 2− It is check...
